We start in a big way, we go up to Pico do Arieiro, the third highest point in Madeira, located at 1,818 meters of altitude. Above the clouds, this is one of the most impressive places on the island, offering unforgettable panoramic views of the mountains and, on days of clear skies, over much of Madeira.
Then we visit the Levada dos Balcões, a short and accessible route that crosses the Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of the trail, the viewpoint offers a magnificent view of the verdant valleys and central peaks of the island.
